I’m Birdie, the "nutty” dog behind Nutty Birdie’s Calming Butter.

My mom and I came up with a safe and natural solution to help calm me down, sleep well, and travel with less anxiety. I’m excited to help other Nutty Buddies like me!

My Story

I just turned five in April!

My name is Birdie, and I’m a full-blooded Australian Cattle Dog, aka a “Blue Heeler.” I was born on a farm in Opelousas, Louisiana. At five weeks old, my mom and dad and sister brought me home to the big city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since then, I’ve moved to Maine where I have over sixty-five acres to roam. I have two rescue siblings- another cattle dog named Mia and a mixed breed named Rocky.

If you know anything about heelers, it’s probably that we are pretty energetic and very smart. Some of us are full of anxiety and can be very bossy. That’s me- my mom says I’m the boss of the house!

To help calm me down for vet visits, car rides and lots of houseguests, my mom started giving me peanut butter with CBD in it. Then she noticed that it came all the way from Portland, Oregon. So, she decided to make some peanut butter just for me, and that’s how Nutty Birdie’s was born.

Nutty Birdie’s is made with peanuts sourced right here in New England and CBD sourced and extracted right here in Blue Hill, Maine.

I hope you like the new Nutty Birdie’s Calming Butter- I sure do!

  • Love, Birdie
